As a Christian I do Halloween. I just don’t do the devilish, ghostly, witchy, side of it. You know the darker side of it.

I’d rather focus on the fun part like Peanut getting dressed up and having a ball getting candy. And yes, candy for me too. Because you know as a good Mom I have to test it to see if it’s safe. I also have to eat what she doesn’t like so it won’t go to waste. Oh yes, I have a child that doesn’t like chocolate with nuts!

So tomorrow evening Peanut will be in her cowgirl costume at school for a party. Then on Halloween night she’ll be be out getting candy with some friends. I’ll tag along if I can walk, this darn foot of mine. And she’ll fall fast asleep afterwards knowing that she’ll have a bowl full of candy to enjoy for a few weeks.
