We’re Off
Tomorrow we leave for Atlanta for my Uncle’s funeral. Peanut’s teacher was very understanding of our need to take her out of school. She that we didn’t even need to take any school work with us on the trip. She feels that Peanut can catch up when we return home. Thank God that she’s a good student and able to do things like that.
She’s going to take some books to read for the ride and I’ll surprise her with some math pages I’ve printed from some math sites for her! I’m sure she’ll be thrilled.
I feel really bad for my Hubby as he has to do all of the driving. He’s going to have to stop numerous times too as my Mom and Aunt are elderly and will need restroom stops along the way. He’s got a lot of patience but I’m sure he’s going to be very tired and drained after this trip.
Thank to to all who’ve posted their condolences here on my blog, in forums and in emails. That kindness goes a long way. It means that the blogging community has heart. I’m very grateful to you all.

My sincerest condolences to you and your family and especially to your mother as she deals with the death of a second sibling in such a short amount of time. May your Uncle find eternal rest and peace and may God give the rest of you strength and comfort during this time of mourning.
