Today was a relaxing, easy day, one of the few we’ve had in a long time. We did go to a church meeting this morning but it was casual and there were donuts! When we got home, Peanut and I had lunch. Then she played on her Wii for a bit. I checked my emails and took a nap.

Peanut had some fun playing with her new gadgets from Christmas but relaxing in bed while she did so. She’s still a bit sleepy from the surgery on Thursday. I had a nice long nap that I really needed.

Hubby came home from work around 5 which was when I woke up. We ate a quick and easy dinner and then I did some laundry. Peanut had macaroni and cheese. She’s still on a soft diet but the good thing is that she’s been really hungry still. We’re trying to find different things that she can eat to keep up with her.

I got back online after the laundry and now I’m blogging a bit. It’s been a nice comfortable day. Very rare for us, but something to enjoy for sure.
