I’m taking some time to be selfish. I’m allowed to, after all this is my blog. I feel like saying, “na na na poo poo” and I just did! So here’s why I’m being selfish. I want to win something. I want to get rid of my old, hanging on by it’s last leg, I buy things for my daughters and not for myself purse and win a brand new giraffe print handbag and wallet.

I’m entering this contest held by Lori over at All Chick Stuff. This is one of my new reads and it’s fun. I’m not into fashion as I’m just not that type of woman. Give me some comfortable clothes and sneakers and I’m happy. I can’t even walk in high heels. But I’m learning from someone like me.

Lori describes herself as “…not a girly girl at all…” and I think that’s me too. I hung out with the guys throughout school. I’d rather go out to eat than go shopping for clothes for myself. I’m a great candidate for that TV show, What Not To Wear. I still have clothes in my closet from 10 years ago - big baggy shirts, because nothing else would fit. So I’m either a misfit or like Lori

So winning this handbag would make me feel a bit more fashionable. At least the arm that’s carrying it would.
