Some Great Meals

When we go to Disney we always try to save money. Having our membership with Disney Vacation Club or DVC allows us to cook in our room since we have a full kitchen. So we usually eat breakfast in the room and take lunch with us to the park. We also eat dinners in our room as much as we can but we do have those special nights where we have dinner at some of the restaurants at Disney World. We have our favorites because of the delicious food they serve.

Peanut has been doing much better with eating now. She enjoys helping us choose the restaurants and meals we’ll eat. We can buy her a child size meal without thinking we’re wasting any money now because she’ll eat all or most of it.

This past week we got to eat at ESPN Club when Lady Ali and her fiancee (yes I did say fiancee, which I’ll save for another post) came to eat dinner with us, the Hoop De-Doo Revue, El Pirata Y el Perico Restaurante at the Magic Kingdom for a surprise lunch because it hasn’t been open for a while and Rainforest Cafe for lunch on our last day. Of course we also got some chocolate treats and other goodies that I shouldn’t have eaten at all. But it was so yummy and tempting!

Oh and I forgot that Hubby and I finally used our gift certificate for Outback. I’ve never eaten there before and I’ll tell you it was fantastic. I was good and didn’t order any desert. I could have easily eaten some though but I was really trying to watch my diet. We ate the whole loaf of bread they gave us and I ate every drop of food from my plate.

I have to try to lose some weight and since exercising is so difficult for me, the best way is through my diet. I’ve heard of Orovo and other diet products but I can’t take those with all of the medications I’m on. I have to do it the old fashioned way.
