This month is hitting us hard in the pocketbook. We’ve had some unexpected expenses come our way. Little Bit, our cat needs a tooth removed, a dental cleaning and his ears cleaned out because the medicine for ear mites isn’t working. There’s been some doctor bills because we haven’t met our deductible. We’ve also had some gifts to buy for friends’ birthdays, a baby shower and a graduation. Lady Ali is moving and we’ll be giving her some spending money. And just the other day, Peanut got two party invitations for her friend’s birthdays.

I hate to admit this but we haven’t filed our taxes yet. No need to alert the IRS. We didn’t pull a Wesley Snipes. We did file an extension. So that stimulus check we thought we’d have soon won’t be coming yet. We’ll get by though. We always seem to.
