Taking Photos
I’ve made a commitment to myself. I’m going to start to bring my camera along with me when I leave my house. I’m going to use it at home and outdoors more often. When I visit other blogs I’m drawn to the ones that include their own photographs.
It doesn’t have to be photos of family, though those are enjoyable, especially seeing parents showing off their children. I like to see photos of weather, rainy days, clouds, the sun hitting on someone’s porch, etc. Pictures of homes, their decorating styles, their clutter and the clean up make me smile. It’s nice to know that I’m not alone in the battle of trying to stay organized!
So my digital camera is going to start getting a work out. I have a case for it so I can take it along without any worries. I’ve been finding myself saying that I wish I’d had my camera with me too many times lately thinking of a photo I could use on my blog.
Look forward to seeing more of my family, home and the things around me instead of using other people’s photos. The benefit for me is I’ll hopefully improve my photography skills too.

Hiya! Stumbled across your blog from the blog365 megafeed. Taking a picture day is a challenge, but it can be fun! Don’t rule out your camera phone if you have one, either… I have an iPhone and I take pictures with it all the time… even though they’re not 10 megapixel or anything, they’re perfect for including with a blog post. Drop me an email and say hi… maybe we can challenge each other with photo-taking adventures!

As you may have noticed, I’ve been adding a lot more of my own pictures to my posts and have gotten to the point where I barely leave the house without my camera in tow anymore. Whenever I don’t have it I always see something and wish I did so I’ve just taken to taking it!
I love posts with pictures in them that people have taken. Definitely looking forward to yours!!
