They’re Going To Spend Money
The stock market took a huge plunge yesterday. We know that we’re in a financial crisis. Unemployment rates are skyrocketing. Foreclosures are the norm. Gas prices, food prices, all prices are going up.
But do you still see people buying cigarettes? Know of people taking vacations? See people on golf courses or eating out at restaurants? You know you do it too. As much as you try to save there are some things that you can’t help but splurge.
For my family we end up spending money on take out. Hubby and I are just too tired at the end of the day sometimes to cook. We know we’re wasting money but we can’t get out of the habit.
The good news in this for those of us who work at home either with blogging or selling online is that people are still going to buy. Don’t get caught up in the bad news of the recent days and the coming days. Keep on working!

We’re guilty of it too, we just got back from a weekend trip. I guess until we’re really hurting we plan on living the same lifestyle of which we’ve become accustomed. It is scary to think of how bad things could get. We actually lost a lot of money with our stocks and 401K but so did everyone else. Grrr.

It’s hard to not spend any extra money even though I know that I should be trying to sock some away with the way things are going but it’s tough, especially considering I have very little “disposable” income anyway.
