Don’t Vote, Don’t Complain
I’m joining the “Don’t Vote” Meme because I don’t want to hear you complaining about the economy, the war in Iraq, education, health care and prescription costs if you don’t vote on November 4th (or vote by absentee ballot, or vote early).
If I hear you complain, I’m going to ask you if you voted.
I’m tagging five people to continue this meme and share this information the privilege of voting.
1. Karen from Big Pond
2. Joana from Nanashi-Inc.net
3. Jenn from Everyday Randomness
4. Holly from Everything and Anything
5. Cindi from Moomette’s Mama Mentor Blog

[...] Connie tagged me with a meme today, one which I felt more than a little compelled to share with everyone. As some may know, one of my biggest pet peeves is to hear people ranting and raving about the state of the economy, the people in office, and how their tax dollars are being spent when they couldn’t even be bother to cast their vote. If you don’t vote, then I just don’t want to hear you bitching and moaning. As far as I’m concerned, if you’re eligible to vote and you’re doing it, then you have absolutely no right to complain. After all, you’ve already passed up your chance to make a difference. [...]

I have always said that people who don’t vote have absolutely no right to complain so if you want to preserve your right to complain than use your right ot vote!

This is a great idea! I’m a firm believer that you can’t complain if you don’t vote.
